Learn to bounce back

It’s time to rewrite the story you’ve been telling yourself, about yourself

Many of us experience adversity in life: chronic stress, illness, loss, physical or emotional trauma – a personal crisis. Challenging events that are seemingly temporary, may have a long lasting impact on your physical and mental well-being.

From childhood, we collect imprints of all the events that happen to us on our path. Based on these experiences, we create a story – mostly at an unconscious level – about ourselves and our life. When we have experienced trauma, we store these impactful experiences not only in our minds but also in our bodies. We experience physical and emotional pain, develop survival mechanisms, and become disconnected from our bodies. From this state of being unfolds a new storyline that does not serve our well-being. It’s time to investigate this story and rewrite it into a more powerful version.

Personal resilience is the art of responding to life’s challenges, learning from them, and coming out stronger

Maybe what happened to us – in our past or even recently – was painful and unfair and we have all the right to feel angry, scared, or overwhelmed. But to move forward in life, we first need to acknowledge, feel, and accept the difficult things that happened to us and give up hope for a better past. We must be willing to take full responsibility for our own lives, even in difficult times.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

~ Viktor E. Frankl

In life we can’t always control what happens to us, but we always have a choice in how we respond. Personal resilience can be built by optimizing our knowledge, attitude, and behavior towards adversity. Making this switch will allow us to learn how to effectively respond to and recover from stressful or traumatic life events.

You learn more about yourself in the uncomfortable than in the comfortable

In our coaching sessions you will be invited to look within yourself to find the root cause of the disruption and use the answers to restore your balance. We will investigate what’s going on at different levels in your life, connect the dots and support you on your path towards healing and personal growth. Along the way you will learn the tools you need to become more resilient and create positive changes in your life.

“My invitation? If you’re willing to dive into the uncomfortable to raise your resilience, I’ll go there with you.”

~ Karina
